Gerald Steinberg

Gerald Steinberg is professor of Political Studies at Bar Ilan University, and founder of the Program on Conflict Management and Negotiation. His research focuses on Middle East diplomacy, soft power, and the politics of human rights. He wrote the chapters on the peace process in the Israel at the Polls series, is a member of Israel Council of Foreign Affairs; participates in the Inter-parliamentary Coalition for Combating Antisemitism; and is president of the NGO Monitor research institute. He is completing a book on Menachem Begin's foreign policy as reflected in the Egyptian-Israeli peace negotiations.
