GJIA Online regularly publishes expert commentary and analysis on a wide variety of policy-related topics in international affairs. We combine the Journal’s trademark depth of insight and analysis with an awareness of current events, movements, and global trends. The editorial board directly solicits articles from academics and practitioners, both from Georgetown University and worldwide.
GJIA Online also accepts a limited number of unsolicited articles on a rolling basis. All submissions must follow these guidelines:
• Articles should be between 750 and 1200 words in length
• Articles should be formatted, if possible, in Microsoft Word with 12-point font-size
• Citations should be hyperlinked within the text of the article (formal citations, including footnotes, are not recommended)
• Submissions should include a brief biography or résumé of the author
All submissions and related inquires should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the high volume of submissions GJIA Online receives, we unfortunately cannot provide feedback on all articles. Only those whose submissions have been accepted for review and potential publication will be contacted. If you do not hear from us within ten days, please assume that your article will not be published.
Note: The majority of authors published by GJIA Online have obtained either a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in their field of expertise. We will, on occasion, consider submissions from qualified authors who have obtained a Master’s Degree.
GJIA Online also features short interviews with scholars and practitioners in its ‘Five Minutes With an Expert’ section. If you are interested in being interviewed, please contact us at email@example.com.
