The Georgetown Journal of International Affairs (GJIA)’s blogs are open to original submissions from professors, students, and professionals from inside and outside of Georgetown University. Please contact Lucas Chan at lac228@georgetown.edu or Matt Sullivan at ms2459@georgetown.edu if you are interested in submitting a piece or discussing a submission to the GJIA blog.

Blog submissions can be in the form of reporting, commentary, or analysis on any policy related topic in international affairs. Blogs posts should be approximately 500-800 words in length and must include a brief author biography.

All pieces must be reviewed and approved by the Journal‘s editorial staff before publication. GJIA will consider all submissions, but assumes no obligation regarding publication. Articles appearing on the blog are not subject to the same standards of peer-review as those appearing in the printed Georgetown Journal of International Affairs.

Pieces on the blog reflect the views of the author alone and not necessarily those of the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, or Georgetown University.

Comments are welcome but will be monitored by the Blog Editors for offensive and inappropriate content.
